Talk about irony. While speaking at an event in Iowa, wealthy Elizabeth Warren's microphone went out while she was railing against the rich.
Eight minutes into her appearance the lights went out and her microphone stopped working.
It happened right when Warren started attacking the 1%. For some context, she happens to be a part of the 1%.
It was an apparent dose of instant karma.
She was taking a page from Bernie Sanders when she said she's "in the fight because "today’s minimum wage will not keep momma and baby out of poverty."
There were around 400 people at the event.
The microphone outage lasted about eight minutes, so a large portion of her presentation was her screaming loudly in the dark, doing her best so people could hear her.
